I am Double major of Math and Chemistry at Nova Southeastern University. Planning on getting a Ph.D in Mathematics

Experience

I am well experienced, as I've been tutoring math for 8 years, and Chemistry for 4 years. I find joy in tutoring, and ever since I've started I have found to love it. When it comes to the standardized tests like the SAT or ACT, I am proficient at tutoring the math sections of those exams, as I have tutored others in them, as well as received a perfect score on the math section of both. Also with the SAT subject tests for Math 1 and 2, I tutor in those as well, and have received a perfect score on both of those exams. Over the past few years I have developed teaching techniques that make understanding those exams much simpler. I have taken classes for all the subjects I have listed to teach, so it is easy for me to relate to the student, understand his or her learning style, and use that to teach. As far as my experience in the math field, I've taken many courses and gained many skills that have contributed to my national ranking. Through my involvement in personally coaching both individuals and teams, I have developed a very conceptual method. I say things how they are in simple terms, so that I can explain concepts easily to my students, and they understand the big picture. Knowing that every student has a particular learning style, I can customize my approach when engaging with students so that I can cater to his or her strengths or weaknesses.
