I attended Iowa State University to earn my bachelor's degree in math. After college, I went to the UK, where I studied for my master's degree in math and finance. As a tutor, I'm comfortable in any math topic, but my favorites are graph theory and linear algebra. I had the opportunity to spend a year at the University of Essex, and my dissertation was in group theory, graph theory, and linear algebra, so these concepts are dear to my heart. I learned math is a powerful and fascinating subject but it is more than just numbers, and I try to help students understand that. When I have free time, I enjoy playing Kendama, yo-yoing, going for bike rides, and cheering for my favorite sports teams.
